Blissful Beginner Cowl
Do you avoid cowls because they are knitted on circular needles?
Surprise! This one is knitted on straight needles.
Now, you can relax and knit a cowl using ANY WEIGHT YARN on straight needles.
Blissful Beginner may be worn long and loose or doubled around the neck for cold weather.
Plus! You'll learn my favorite way to cast on and seam cowls that are knitted flat AND the best way to keep edges neat and tidy.
Round-About Cowl
Don't worry! Knitting in-the-round is much easier than you think!
Stockinette stitch is used for the body of the cowl. I know you will find this ridiculously enjoyable because guess what? When you knit Stockinette in-the-round, you don't have to purl!
Round-About is a simple and fun-to-knit cowl and I highly recommend knitting this cowl several times in any weight yarn you choose!
By the way, the yarn I used for this project creates these beautiful flowers and stripes as you knit and it's a one-skein project.
Enchanting Eyelet Cowl
Enchanting Eyelet is a stockinette (knit every row) cowl with a rolled hem.
The top portion features a lovely lace pattern. I can't wait to show you how easy knitting lace can be.
You'll also learn lots of my favorite tips and tricks along the way including, unknitting if you make a mistake, adding a knitting lifeline so you don't have to frog your entire project, how to block your completed cowl, and how to never lose your place in your knitting.
Tranquility Tube Cowl
Tranquility is a long endless cowl knitted in a seamless tube and you can knit this using any weight yarn.
Wear this cowl long and loose or double around your neck for a warm and cozy look and feel.
You'll learn how to cast on using an easy provisional cast-on and then join the finished ends with my favorite simple grafting method.
It's named Tranquility because you are going to spend a lot of time just relaxing and knitting this cowl.
Trailblazing Textured Cowl
Is cable knitting difficult?
No! I can't wait to show you how easy it is and with this project, you won't even need a cable needle!
I used to think cable knitting was a long and arduous process requiring many twists and turns in my knitting. I could not have been more wrong.
With the Trailblazing Textured Cowl, you'll understand what it takes to knit a cable using any weight yarn...without frustration...and have a beautiful finished project to wear proudly.
And you will, too!

Read MoreEvery pattern seems doable and as with all of the NobleKnit courses, the information that is provided is priceless. For this one I was excited to learn about interchangeable needles because I'm frustrated that I keep finding that I don't have the exact needle or circular cable length for a pattern so it seems to be time to look into interchangeable needle sets. Having Nancy's advice about the options out there was great and I'm going to do some homework using this information. Also, I checked out the links to other cowl videos & patterns and found my next project! Also, I loved that in the Trailblazing cowl pattern I leaned how to create a cable in an uncomplicated way!! Looking forward to the next course. :-)

Read MoreI’m on the second week Round About cowl. I’m using a Lion Brand Mandala Ombré cake that is in my stash. I was surprised to find this is a #4 worsted weight yarn. I thought it was DK and was going to use it going two strands together but becauworsted weight decided on a single strand. My arthritic hands prefer yarns not so thick to work with. It’s coming out beautiful.
